NASCAR racing and why I find it entertaining, yawns from the rest of you are expected and welcome. Since a lot of the entertainment others enjoy cause me to, you guessed it, yawn as.
Man and machine, built to a specification dictated by the governing body. Made to be as identical as possible within the manufactures’ design, since what wins on Sunday sells on Monday. Its about selling cars, you know those companies too big to fail. I was Ford fan for years, but when they didn’t have their hand out for a bailout, I knew that I had chosen the correct make for me to be a fan.
First, lets look at the background. The sanctioning body, NASCAR, used to be so overwhelmed with the inspection process that in order to fill the field of 40-43 cars for Sunday inspections many illegal altercations were often overlooked or missed due to time constraints. Talk about putting the Government in check, NASCAR teams more or less stated, nice rules, they don’t work, therefore we will overwhelm you with nonsense in order to attempt to sneak in a game changer.
When We The People demonstrate our disdain or disagreement with various Government dictates are we not all NASCAR racecar teams?
Are we not saying, that we understand the process and we know how to complete it without Government interference, involvement, or taxation.
Enjoy the race, on a privately owned track, with privately owned vehicles, with independent contractors operating the vehicles at speeds near 200 miles an hour.
