War on Drugs or War on the Poor?

We, well those in their mid to late 40’s can declare that the educational system provided the tools to know that “Just Saying No” is the only way to go when dealing with illegal drugs. Individual health is best when allowing the body to manage and heal itself, and maintaining good nutrition is key. By nutrition it is meant as the substances introduced into the body should have a positive effect on the functioning of the body as a whole and not hurt or destroy cells in the body, as that would be counterproductive.

Illegal, illicit drugs are bad for you, your family, your health, and pretty much any social standing that one may have in the community. These were taught to us as FACTS, we are now able to see through the FACTS and understand that some of them were LIES, or at best a wrong representation of some health benefits that may be obtained from the use of some of these illegal drugs with no known medical value. After all, are not some of the illegal drugs nothing more than forms of substances that if received from a pharmacy legal?

Illegal, illicit drugs are bad for you, your family, your health, and pretty much any social standing that one may have in the community. These were taught to us as FACTS, we are now able to see through the FACTS and understand that some of them were LIES, or at best a wrong representation of some health benefits that may be obtained from the use of some of these illegal drugs with no known medical value. After all, are not some of the illegal drugs nothing more than forms of substances that if received from a pharmacy legal? Look at the increase in heroin overdoses that are now being considered a new National Emergency, or crisis. This new, old crisis will do one of two things in the future. One, incarcerate more citizens for using said illegal drug, thereby claiming that by confiscating wealth through RICO predicates while enforcing the drug laws, the government is actually saving lives, but destroying families. Or two, the citizens will direct the government that future enforcement efforts should be done in an effort to increase Public health, not Public incarceration rates and cages full of non violent criminals that hurt no one but themselves, according to government statistics.

Pain Management:

Pain management is something that we all must deal with the older that we get. Some of us have been popping Ranger Candy for decades; Ranger Candy is known in Veteran circles as 800mg Motrin (Ibuprofen). What is that 2- 4 times the strength of over the counter Motrin?    But where does the Motrin metabolize in the body? The kidneys are where the medicine is metabolized, any coincidence in the amount of kidney damage or increased continuous lower back pain for those who were given 800 mg of the prescription strength for normal aches and pains acquired during service to their Nation.

Aches and pains that are then considered normal and maintained with the least amount of prescriptions written is the normal course of action received. A common quote among Veterans is when you go to medical (socialized medicine) for treatment; above the waste Motrin, below the waist foot powder, which is the normal mantra for going to the clinic the first time, or more.

The thought process is that we are just a number, and that number needs to get back to work, so the quicker the turn around, with the least amount of medication, this is important for different aspects of the jobs held by those seeking medical treatment for pain. Some occupations do not allow use of narcotic prescriptions, due to some of the mental side effects, which cannot be allowed in an environment that requires continual physical capabilities and a mental astuteness that is difficult to understand unless you can comprehend that one person mentally out of the game on prescription pain medications, that include mind altering substances are not in keeping with a system that requires continuous mental gym and at times immediate actions to be preformed at a moments notice.

The other medicine pushed is Tylenol (Acetaminophen), which metabolizes in the liver. If you ever had children with fevers, there is a reason that ibuprofen and acetaminophen are alternated when attempting to reduce or eliminate the fever. Since one medicine metabolizes in the liver (only one organ) and the other medicine that metabolizes in the kidneys (two) the medicines do a pretty good job of eliminating the fever and other minor pains that may be felt through the body. However, when these medicines are used at their full strength for normal bodily maintenance for long periods of time could there be a point where their effectiveness wears out? At what point does the juice not be worth the squeeze, or does the risk management argument become irrelevant since the organs where the drugs are metabolized have been damaged as a side effect of the daily or near routine use of the prescription strength, and the over the counter policies of the socialized medical system.

So far we have just discussed normal aches and pains that folks deal with on a daily basis and the over the counter medicines that are used to reduce the pain to a level that allows for one to perform their daily functions. That is what the science of medicine is able to provide for humanity and it is a great thing. I have been stricken with aches and pains for many years and have been directed to take these medicines to reduce the amount of pain, swelling, and joint stiffness. They work, but they also cause kidney damage that would cause lower back pain and most likely cause continuous use, and be creating more damage while treating the individual. Also, liver damage, fatty liver, cirrhosis of the liver, and other ailments or diseases. So there has to be a point where the treatment plan of using these medicines, has so to say run its course and alternate medications and treatment plans must begin.

Alternate treatment plans may include prescription opiates or other drugs with increased possibility addiction, side effects and the inability to complete daily functions, i.e. operating a vehicle, heavy machinery, decreased mental dexterity, or hell even just staying awake. However, the pain is minimized or eliminated and the individual enjoys the feeling of not hurting or merely being absent from pain that dictates what they can and cannot do. Therefore the individual is quite liberated and may be able to move and perform normal functions like a regular human being once again.

These treatment plans are expensive, and not everyone can afford to pay the high costs to fill and then refill the prescriptions from the pharmacy. What happens then? The medication is still required to maintain a new “normal” lifestyle. Without the prescription the symptoms will return and the patient will be returned to their debilitated selves or their “old” norm. The miracle of modern medicine allows the patient to be without pain for a brief period, when that period expires, the medicine must be retaken. The prescription medication may have more addictive properties than the over the counter medications and be more effective at treating the debilitating pain of the patient.

I am not a doctor, nor do I claim to be one, not even on TV. However, a little common sense science, a little knowledge of human nature, and the ability to further research does allow for some logical deductions to be made. Logical deductions used to form a medically uneducated opinion.

The War on Drugs.

War is creating a path of death and destruction so large that it forces the enemy to resign and stop in fear of being exterminated from the face of the earth. So let us examine this path of death and destruction being applied upon the citizens of the United States for their common good.

The list of illegal illicit drugs changes from time to time to include the alternate chemical makeups each street drug may assume in order to be within the letter of the law. In short, scientists, in this case chemists are able to create chemicals that are close to the molecular make up of illegal drugs, which have similar effects, and are legal until the rules, regulations and policies change at the enforcement level.

What are some of the unknown second and third order effects of the War on Drugs? How about the ability of The State to claim that the damages done to the family are worth the destruction of it? Follow me on this, drugs are wrong and may destroy families. However, it is quite evident that what destroys families is taking a parent out of the equation and then placing the parent in a cage, for attempting to self medicate or alleviate the pain the individual is suffering. For doing something that if they had the disposable income to care for themselves, they would go to a doctor and a pharmacist to obtain the “drug” to alleviate the pain. But, who really is getting paid in the end by following that process?

As the decarlodangers.com photo inserted above displays the only thing winning the War on Drugs are the wallets of the rulers. Since after all, if one truly owns their body, and no harm was done to others or their property, there is no victim, without a victim how can than there be any crime committed? Secondly, why is the government involved? Oh yeah, its about the money, always has been, always will be with any government agency.

Too be quite honest, it is the opinion of this author that the War on Drugs could be changed to the War on Poverty, and nearly every federal enforcement over reach in the history of governance in the United States of America. The results are always the same. Prohibition of Alcohol rings a bell??

  2. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard
to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance.
I must say that you’ve done a amazing job with this.

Also, the blog loads very fast for me on Internet explorer.
    Exceptional Blog!

  5. Howdy! I understand this is somewhat off-topic but I needed to ask.

Does running a well-established website like yours take a massive
amount work? I am completely new to running a blog however I do write in my journal every day.

I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share my personal experience and
thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any kind of recommendations or tips for brand new aspiring blog owners.
    Appreciate it!

    1. Thanks for the kind words. I don”t know if I would say this is a well established blog, as I too am new to this way of making my thoughts heard. Increasing my sphere of influence so to say. As far as a massive amount of work, I will let you know. I am a retired disabled veteran who is finally waking up to seeing the world from a different angle. Most of my posts take some time to do, after all you must do research in order to form an informed opinion that you hold as your Truth. The more you read and listen the more the Truth is either held by Faith, or by stupidity. I say stupidity since if after the facts are laid out in front of a person in a logical fashion, as in a form of full instruction, top to bottom, left to right, and they still deny any impact from your influence, is more than being just being plain old hard headed. So in an honest answer to your question, it seems as the posts that receive the most interaction to this point do take more time than to form an accurate scribing of my personal interpretation. As I wrote earlier, I am new so I do not consider my opinion to be of much value, my advice to you would be to find something that you passionately believe in and research it. Learn it inside and out, theory, function, diagnosis, repair, train others, learn to lead, and then once you are able to care for yourself, step away and pursue an alternate hobby or passion you had while accomplishing the prior task. Use the same logic, wash, rinse, repeat so to say. I wish you prosperity and increased and social value in your endeavors.

    1. Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it. Always looking to learn and exchange ideas as I attempt to identify, find, understand and comprehend the Truth, my Truth and invite you to share your ideas, thoughts, analysis, and familiarity so that I and anyone who reads this dribble can expand their knowledge as well. My inner hope is that Mankind, the People, not Governments will direct the future of the world. Each of us has value, human value, a soul, let us decide our destiny, not oppressive governments that define “success” as controlling the populace through all means necessary.

Thanks for reading and I wish you prosperity and increased social values in all of your endeavors.

  10. What does this mean? In the practical sense,
not much… but in the legal world, it works as a sort of sleight-of-hand that protects
Uber in the event of a lawsuit. You see, under the law, employers are
considered to be more responsible for the actions of their employees than they are for the actions of their independent contractors.

Uber has used this argument to protect itself against third party plaintiffs many times, including in a lawsuit filed by the family of a young girl who was killed by an Uber driver while crossing the street.
If they can use that defense against an innocent child, you can bet they’ll use
    it against you!
However, this issue is still a legally hazy one.
Strong legal precedent has not yet been established
on this particular question, and different courts have come to different conclusions.

Right now, the status quo seems to be that Uber drivers are considered employees in some areas, and independent contractors in others.

Regardless, you can be certain that if you were hit
by an Uber driver, the company will do what it can to avoid having
to pay you a dime. In these situations, a personal injury attorney is more important than ever,
and one with experiences in Uber cases is a definite plus.
If you find yourself in an Uber accident, you should take the
same steps that you should take after any automobile accident.

These steps include protecting your own safety by getting out of the line of immediate danger and calling 911 if anyone has been injured, remaining at
the scene and sharing insurance information with any other
drivers who were involved, calling the police
if the accident is serious, and reporting it to your
    insurance company.

  11. The subsequent time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one.
