So its been a really exciting time around here at the decarlosdanger.com HQ over the last 4 to 5 days. The chances of me landing a ride in a racecar based upon my virtual ability are just slightly higher than ZERO and I recognize that. But, what is it that drives me to attempt to succeed is just the basic competitive desire to win. From there everything else is a learning experience. It comes down to this, I know I am not the best driver out there most of the time. But can I be the most patient? For if I am patient I will finish. If I finish I have the opportunity still to win. What is the goal? Is it to lead laps or is it to win? These are not mutually exclusive, nor are they mutually inclusive, but at times they may or must coexist with each other.
Why racing? Why Stock Cars? Well lets examine the history of American Stock Car Racing. Founded as something to do with cars that were used to outrun the revenue agents during the Prohibition Era of American History, stock car racing tradition IS founded on Liberty, Freedom, and the Free Market.
Liberty in the use of Spirits, Prohibition was the last time that a Constitutional Amendment was passed to restrict the use of an intoxicating drug, AKA ALCOHOL from the use by a supposed “Free Society” and the individuals in it. No Big Government knows what is best for you. Get in line, don’t make waves, don’t you dare think for yourself, how can you make the right decision for you and have it be the right decision for all?
These concepts are not knew, it is about control, not about the issues paraded around as distractions on those televisions that rob you of intellect and the ability to critically think and apply the wisdom obtained through a life time of acquisition of knowledge and the experiences that go with them. The best students are those that venture out and fail, but rise up to complete the task at hand.
Liberty to chose ones path with out being corralled like chattel for amusement. Liberty to examine OUR common History and demand account for errors in the teaching of our youth.
Liberty to demand PEACE
Liberty to display to all with open eyes what exactly American or United States interests are.
Liberty to say to you, how is it that a Nation that prides itself in it culture of immigrants, but is despised around the world for creating the need for immigration?
Just a few off the top of my head. Just returned from the library with a Tom Woods book and an American Literary Classic, “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthurs Court”, which oddly enough seems beyond fitting for my present state of affairs here at the HQ.
Looking forward to attempting to build something that is my own. That is undeniably of my creation. Hope yuns like it, if not that is cool, others will find Value in it, just gotta find ‘em.
The search was on, but it continues now in earnest.
